The inaugural AECURN research symposium took place at the Southbank campus of Griffith University on the 28th September 2016. It was organised by the AECURN Queensland Branch and supported by the Cities Research Institute.
It had around 15 attendees consisting of PhD students, HDR students and some senior academics.
The Symposium gave all participants the opportunity to present their research and take questions from the group. This was followed by a talk from Dr Deanna Grant Smith and Natalie Osborne on research methodologies and a talk on the publication process by Dr Ed Morgan.
The event was followed by an opportunity for networking.
